株式会社ACCELStars、「スタートアップワールドカップ2026 九州予選（KYUSHU REGIONAL 2026）」のファイナリストに選出

東京大学発のスリープテック／ニューロテックスタートアップの株式会社ACCELStars（本社：福岡県久留米市、代表取締役：宮原禎、以下「ACCELStars」）は、このたび「Startup World Cup 2026 九州予選（KYUSHU REGIONAL 2026）」のファイナリスト10社に選出されましたことをお知らせいたします。

選出の背景

Startup World Cupは、米ペガサス・テック・ベンチャーズが主催する世界最大級のグローバルピッチコンテスト・カンファレンスです。2017年の初開催から今回で8回目を迎え、世界100以上の国と地域で地域予選が行われています。各地域予選を勝ち抜いた企業は、2026年秋に米国・サンフランシスコで開催される世界決勝戦に招待され、優勝投資賞金100万米ドル（約1億6千万円）をかけて競います。世界の投資家からの資金調達機会や、著名な企業・投資家とのネットワーク構築、グローバルでの知名度向上など、スタートアップにとって非常に魅力的な大会です。

2026年6月30日の応募締切を経て書類審査が行われ、ACCELStarsは7月29日に発表された九州予選ファイナリスト10社の一社として選出されました。当日のピッチでは、当社の中核となるコンセプトである「睡眠を脳のデジタルバイオマーカーとし、新たな市場を創造する」をテーマに、当社の取り組み・事業について、審査員および来場者の皆様にご紹介する予定です。

ACCELStars Selected as a Finalist for the Startup World Cup 2026 Kyushu Regional (KYUSHU REGIONAL 2026)

ACCELStars, Inc. (Headquarters: Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture; CEO: Tadashi Miyahara), a medical sleep-tech startup born out of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Tokyo, is pleased to announce that it has been selected as one of the 10 finalists for the “Startup World Cup 2026 Kyushu Regional (KYUSHU REGIONAL 2026).”

Background

The Startup World Cup is one of the world’s largest global pitch competitions and conferences, organized by Pegasus Tech Ventures. First held in 2017, this year marks its 8th edition, with regional qualifiers taking place in more than 100 countries and regions worldwide. Companies that win their regional competition will be invited to the Grand Finale in San Francisco in fall 2026, where they will compete for an investment prize of approximately 150 million yen. The competition offers highly attractive opportunities for startups, including access to funding from investors around the world, the chance to build networks with prominent companies and investors, and increased visibility both domestically and globally.

Following the application deadline of June 30, 2026 and a document screening process, ACCELStars was named one of the ten finalists for the Kyushu Regional, announced on July 29. At the event, the company will present its work and business under the theme of its core concept: “Making Sleep a Digital Biomarker of the Brain — and Creating a New Market.”
